The tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I and II are going to be incredibly difficult to secure as the show approaches its first preview in May 2016 at London's Palace Theatre. Ticket distribution is being done directly with the show producers and even our company Applause-Tickets is unsure if and when we might have ticket inventory available to us for our London-bound clients.
In any case, I thought I would post an article on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts I and II to help Applause Ticket News readers, friends, clients and colleagues know what the show is all about. The show is the 8th story in the Harry Potter series (19 years later) and is the first to be performed live on stage. A brand new play and an original story has been written by J.K Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne.
As the story line goes, Harry Potter is now a much overworked employee of The Ministry of Magic as well as a husband and father of three children. Unfortunately for Harry, it looks like the past keeps coming back to visit him as both he and his younger son Albus struggle with the family history as well.
We anticipate that preview performances will remain on schedule and begin in May 2016 with the World Premiere "opening" scheduled for July 30, 2016. Now that's going to be one hard to get ticket for sure my friends.
Harry Potter and The Cursed Child Parts I and II are meant to be seen either both in the same day or on two consecutive evenings. Sounds pretty great right?
As mentioned above, it is very rare for Applause-Tickets not to be able to obtain tickets for any London West End show or any Broadway show or just about any other reserved seat ticketed event in the world. Right now, however, we are not able to help people get into the show. Still we feel that once the initial excitement calms down, we are confident like most things in life, Harry Potter and The Cursed Child Parts I and II tickets will become easier to obtain.
In the meantime if you'd like to talk to Applause-Tickets about any of the other fantastic London Theatre or the Broadway Theatre, we are a simple phone call away at 212-307-7050 or 800-451-9930. Applause-Tickets is located in New York City and we can send you the actual tickets for any show, concert or sporting event on a moments notice.
