Broadway Grosses

Well another week as passed and now it's time to tally up the figures. How many shows broke the one million dollar mark this week? I would guess the same usual suspects but I've been known to be wrong before. For the week ending May 2,2010 the top five money makers were as follows.

Billy Elliot
Jersey Boys
Promises,Promises
The Lion King
The Addams Family
Wicked

Seeing a pattern here folks? Four of those six shows have been hitting the one million mark pretty much since they opened. Now while both The Addams Family and Promises,Promises received mixed reviews they continue to be big sellers and should continue to be for the near future. Here is a list of the remaining shows and their grosses. Enjoy.
