Broadway Grosses

Yes I know. I know. I'm a day late with last weeks grosses. That is because by the time they came out yesterday I was already out the door and halfway home to my apartment. Anyway no big surprises once again. The same six shows hit the one million mark last week.

The Addams Family

Now besides the six shows that I mentioned there were ten shows that hit the $600,000mark as well. Now of those ten shows three were such long running hits like Mamma Mia,The Phantom of the Opera,and Mary Poppins. My guess is most shows will stay steady at least thru next months Tony Awards and longer. Now as much as I loved Hair it seems to be struggling at the box office. It will be lucky to survive the summer. Let's hope it lasts. Until next time theater fans.
