33 Variations, the new play written and directed by Moises Kaufman and starring two-time Academy Award winner Jane Fonda will finish it's limited run on May 24th at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. The show which marked Ms. Fonda's return to the Broadway stage in over forty-six years began previews on March 9th. Reviews for the play were mixed but mostly raves for it's star and supporting cast. I myself did not see the show but everyone in my office found it to be a very interesting piece and loved Ms. Fonda as well as Zach Grenier whose portrayal of Beethoven is expected to garner him a Tony nomination this week. Ms. Fonda who in a recent interview stated that she would love to return to Broadway again in the near future is back where she belongs. On the Broadway stage. Next time I will be sure not to miss it.
