That's right folks.You only have sixteen more chances to see Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini, and Marcia Gay Harden in God of Carnage. The show which won three 2009 Tony Awards including Best Play has been a smash hit ever since it opened this past Spring at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on Broadway. In fact the show has been so popular that even I couldn't get a ticket and I work in the industry. Not that I haven't tried.A new cast of theatre and television veterans are set to take over on November 17th. They are Christine Lahti, Annie Potts, Jimmy Smits and Ken Stott who originated the role in the London production last year. Now while the show is extremely popular it is mostly due in part too it's current all-star cast. The big question is if it can sell just as well without them.We will soon find out.
