Wicked Ticket Prices are coming Down to Earth

Finally after years of selling out almost every performance at Wicked in New York, the Applause Ticket Agency would like to share a little secret with our blog readers. The recession of 2009, high ticket prices and the fact that this superb show isn't the new kid on the block any longer are making ticket buying allot easier than the first several years it has been playing in New York City.

I've seen Wicked three times and it is fantastic. Wicked tells the "untold musical story" of what happened BEFORE The Wizard of Oz. You know, what the prequel might have been like. It tells the tale of how the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda The Good Witch met at school. Although the movie depicts the witches as arch enemies, the Broadway show depicts a compassionate friendship between the two. The sets are amazingly beautiful and the music by Stephen Schwartz along with great acting talent all make for a great day or night at the Gershwin Theater in New York.

So my secret is out. Why should the public buy tickets that are often so over-priced that they could have treated themselves to dinner and seen the show for the same price included? What you need to do is simply shop around when looking for Wicked tickets in New York City.

This is not a plug for my ticket service Applause (license #71AP1001029). Really it is not. Simply do yourself a favor and take your time, make some notes and talk to an expert about how you can score the very best seat at the best price. After all it is your hard earned money right?

I hope you find this blog on Wicked tickets in New York City helpful today. Enjoy the theater.

Sincerely,

Rich Gladstone
