2008-2009 Outer Critics Circle Award Nominations

Let the award season begin. Nominations for the Outer Critics Circle Awards were officially announced today and boy are there some surprises. Leading the pack with ten nominations each are Billy Elliot and Shrek. It was also announced that Special Achievement Awards will be given to Billy Elliot co-stars David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik and Kiril Kulish, and the full cast of The Norman Conquests will be presented the Outstanding Ensemble Performance Award. Winners of the 2008-2009 Outer Critics Circle Awards will be revealed the morning of May 11. Here are a list of the nominees.
