A few months ago I had the privilege of taking my husband and daughter to see Wicked. Well what can I say except We Loved It!!. With music and lyrics by Steven Schwartz and book by Winnie Holzman Wicked tells the story of the witches from the Wizard of Oz (Elphaba the wicked witch and Glinda the good witch) how they met and what transpired to get them to the point of being enemies. Where Wicked ends the Wizard of Oz begins. I now understand why Wicked plays to sold out audiences nightly. The sets, costumes, lighting along with every thing else makes Wicked a must see for everyone when visiting New York.
