"The Norman Conquests" Conquers Broadway as the Critics Rave!

It’s 10 a.m. Do you know where theater fanatics are? Probably gearing up for the marathon -
the three-plays-in-one-day fun fest that is “The Norman Conquests.”

Alan Ayckbourn’s ‘73 trilogy about an incorrigible seducer - Norman, the horny librarian (Stephen Mangan) - just opened to glowing reviews at Broadway’s Circle in the Square. You can see it one play at a time, or immerse yourself in all three on a Saturday or Sunday. And while there are bathroom breaks aplenty, even die-hards pale at the prospect of too much of a good thing. (”The Coast of Utopia,” anyone?) No worries. Here’s how to enjoy nonstop “Norman.”

They knocked ‘em dead at the Old Vic Theatre in London last fall. Now the cast of the first Broadway revival of Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy trilogy The Norman Conquests is ready to charm New York City. The critics raved! Here's all the reviews for your reading pleasure!!

Pictured to the right is Kevin Spacey who is the Artistic director at the Old Vic in London and also producer of this show reading the early review from the NY Times on his Blackberry and I think he likes what he's reading!
