Customers talk back...with Todd
I love this one…I just had a call from a lady who wanted to take the whole family and I mean whole (all 10 of them) family to see WICKED. She asked me if I thought WICKED or MARY POPPINS was a better show to see with their young daughters. I told her I loved both shows, however WICKED is the more popular one and especially with the age of her daughters. She said that’s what I thought…She told me that they came to town last year on Spring break and a friend in the city told them not to go to WICKED, but see JERSEY BOYS AND SPRING AWAKENING instead. She told me thankfully they ended up not taking the children and boy was she glad. Even though JERSEY BOYS is a great show, she would have been mortified by them hearing the language used in the show. She also said that she didn’t love SPRING AWAKENING and would probably have dropped dead in the theatre having her little girls next to her watching that subject matter. She told me she will never listen to the advise of that friend again and that if WICKED isn’t perfect she will let me know. Never fear…I KNOW she will have a new source for ticket information.
