God of Carnage Celebrate's 100th Performance On Broadway

This season's most honored play has reached a milestone. Tonight God of Carnage, the 2009 Tony Award winner for Best Play, will mark it's 100th performance on Broadway at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre. The show which features an all-star cast has been breaking box-office records since it opened on March 22. The show which stars James Gandofini,Marcia Gay Harden,Hope Davis, and Jeff Daniels also won Tony Awards for Best Director and Best Actress(Marcia Gay Harden)It was also recently announced that the show will take a six week Summer hiatus beginning on July 27 to allow the cast to fulfill previously scheduled commitments. The show will resume performances on September 8 and continue thru November 15. I personally can't imagine that the show will close when the current cast leaves. This is the type of show that could feature a rotating cast of stars for many years to come. I hope I'm right. This is a great play that deserves to be around for a very long time. No matter who is in the cast.
