Rupert Everett is a “Blithe Spirit”

I had such a great time at "Blithe Spirit". Angela Landsbury is a hoot and just wonderful in this role. She certainly deserved the Tony Award!
A-list British actor and all around debonair dude Rupert Everett is making his Broadway debut in Noel Coward’s blissfully urbane comedy “Blithe Spirit”. Rupert, 49, stars opposite Christine Ebersole, she who was so sublime in “Grey Gardens.” “Blithe Spirit,” which some may remember from the 1945 David Lean picture starring Rex Harrison, spins around a giddy seance with an eccentric medium (is there any other kind?) that invokes the spirit of a dead wife. Let’s just say, this time it’s personal!

I loved Rupert in My Best Friends Wedding with Julia Roberts. One of my favorite movies that I can watch over and over again. They had such great chemistry together. He's a fine actor who does a great job in this show.

I highly recommend it and urge you to see this show soon before it closes on July 19th. It's a limited run. Applause has tickets at a great price right now, below the normal face value of the ticket. 800-451-9930
