A Day In The Life Of A Ticket Broker At Applause Theatre Service

Wow! I can't believe that I have been in the tickets business for over eleven years. It seems just like yesterday when I started my first day as Ticket Sales Representative at the Roundabout Theatre Company. From there I moved on to the Box Office where I became the Assistant Treasure for Studio 54.(Home of the Tony Award winning Cabaret)Now I'll admit moving from the phone room to the box office was a little daunting at first. As a phone rep I was used to answering questions and handling any complaints that came my way. Sounds easy enough right? Now I would be forced to handle those problems or issues face to face. To be honest it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. In fact I enjoyed it. The show continued to be a success and I was happy to be a part of it. For awhile at least. Selling the same show year after year can get a little boring. So I decided it was time for a change. So I searched around and before you knew it I had found a new home. Applause. Now I get the chance to help a wide variety of people from all over the world and I get to talk about my favorite thing. Broadway. It doesn't get any better than that.
