This is just a quick note to let you in on a new association our company Applause Theater Service has with Ovation TV. Ovation TV is presenting an Original Programming Event that began on June 6, 2009 and will run through June 21, 2009. It is called Music of the Night and you will be lucky to be able to see video specials on the legendary Broadway director Hal Prince, a behind the scenes documentary on the Phantom of the Opera, a showing of Cabaret, starring Academy Award-winning Liza Minelli and a showing of A Chorus Line, starring Michael Douglas.
Ovation TV is a "multi platform network" that has its focus on making life creative. They have a uniquely interactive web site that has the goal of "engaging, entertaining and inspiring the artist in all of us". Ovation TV offers its community both original programming as well as additional content programming acquired from their members. Ovation TV can be seen on Cable TV, Satellite TV as well as Telco and is accentuated with its extremely popular website called http://www.ovationtv.com/ . They have been around for over 12 years now and were re-launched in 2007 to the United States audience with added coverage through DIRECTV. They now can be seen on DISH Network and many other cable systems throughout the country.
Ovation TV is becoming huge. They have an audience approaching 30 million now. Pretty amazing when you consider they are a very young company right?
