Mary Poppins Continues To Soar On Broadway

One of my fondest childhood memories was seeing Mary Poppins for the first time on television. Until then I had never encountered anything so enchanting and fun. So imagine how happy I was when it was announced that one of my favorite movies was coming to the Broadway stage. I am happy to report that not only did the "Broadway" version exceed all my expectations but it made me fall in love with Mary Poppins all over again. Now I'll be the first to admit that I have never been a fan of Disney and their reign on Broadway. Until Mary Poppins the only Disney show I had seen was Aida and that was mostly do to the fact that it wasn't a cartoon before hand.Mary Poppins is a winner on all levels. Great cast,charming songs, and a story that will warm your heart. What more could you ask for in a Broadway musical right? Now for those of you that think this show is only for kids you would be mistaken. It is perfect for any age.I should know. I'm not exactly a kid anymore myself.
