9 to 5 The Musical-See it this Summer at Below Face Value

Doing around $800,000.00 weekly in ticket sales most weeks, 9 to 5 The Musical is a Broadway newcomer, pleasing audiences young and older alike. Although I've seen several musicals that often look and feel the same, its a rare treat to witness a Dolly Parton musical in ones life. Ms. Parton has written over 3000 songs in her career. Her music and a cute story written by Patricia Resnick make for a fun time indeed at the Marquis Theater in New York City.

Like the movie, 9 to 5 The Musical stays true to the film of the 1980's whereby we get to see the outspoken trio of women working in an office finally "turn the tables" on a typically sexist and over-bearing male boss. 9 to 5 The Musical stars Allison Janney, Megan Hilty and Stephanie J. Block and they all do a marvelous job in singing and dancing their ways into your heart throughout the show. Marc Kudisch, a Broadway regular plays Franklin Hart (the boss) and is quite entertaining throughout 9 to 5 The Musical.

Right now, the Applause Theater Service folks in New York City can obtain seats on your behalf at Below Face Value prices. Simply put, they will get you excellent seats at below cost prices. The special prices are good for all performances except Saturday evenings (when the show sells out of its inventory) from now through August 2, 2009. My guess is that the show will probably extend this special deal if you need to go at another time. Simply call Applause in New York at 212-307-7050 or toll free at 800-451-9930, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
