Hair The Musical- A Great Show and a Must See

I had a chance to see Hair The Musical, the Tony Award winning Best Musical revival of 2009. I thought the night I went to see Hair The Musical was a special one as they invited the audience up on stage to sing, dance and participate with the cast throughout the show. I had come to learn the next day that Hair invites anyone who wants to join them on stage during every performance of the show. I had a blast and I'm sure anyone that gets a chance to be a part of Hair The Musical will remember their experience for a long time to come.

For those of you that may not be aware of the story line, Hair The Musical was originally a story about the "flower power, hippie" counter-culture of the 1960's. The show takes place during the time of war. The story is beautifully conveyed by a tribe of "hippies" living in New York City during the Vietnam War era.

Those familiar with this fantastic musical revival will recall some of the songs that were very popular in the original production of the 1960's version like "Aquarius", " Let The Sunshine In", "Good Morning Starshine" and "Hair" of course. The show does contain full but very brief nudity and has adult content and language.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I took my wife to see Hair The Musical a few months ago but we were both pleasantly pleased to say the least. We have recommended the show often to friends and business associates. Everyone who sees it seems to love everything about it.

Although Hair The Musical often sells out of their weekend ticket inventory, it is very possible to obtain seats for those theater-goers that think they might want to see the show at Below Face Value prices. What this means is that Applause Theater Service (New York State license # 71AP1001029), a local ticket agency for all the Broadway Shows, will try to get you into Hair The Musical at a price that is lower than the regularly printed price on the ticket. Bear in mind, if the Below Face Value price isn't available for the date you would like, Applause will make every effort to secure seats at the most reasonable price around. Applause is known for excellent service and great everyday prices for the Broadway Theater.
