Winner of 10 2009 Tony Awards is Billy Elliot The Musical. The show which won the Tony Award for Best Musical has been packing them in at the Imperial Theatre since it first opened to rave reviews last fall. I have not seen the show. In fact I am the only one in my office who hasn't seen it. To be honest the show doesn't really interest me. However I am in the minority. I have yet to hear from one person that did not love the show. Billy Elliot is still one of the most popular shows in London as well and should continue to run for many years both on Broadway and everywhere in between.
