Those crazy bloggers out there are starting up some wild rumors again. They're reporting that Joel Grey the original Wizard of Oz in "Wicked" on Broadway, whose out doing publicity for his new book, said in an interview that he's been approached about doing the movie version. Well if it's true than that's exciting news indeed! I would love to see all the original cast members come back and do it but I'm certain that won't happen in today's world. They'll try to get some big name stars to drawer bigger business. Some have even said that Liza Minelli would play Madame Morrible which would reunite her with Joel Grey(they both won Oscars for the movie of Cabaret!). Again, will never happen I'm sure. My bet is on Meryl Streep to play Madame Morrible, Perfect!
Anyway this is one of my all time favorite musicals and I've seen it multiple times. You don't know what you're missing if you haven't yet seen this brilliant totally entertaining musical extravaganza! Go!
