I'm saddened with all these blogs and rumors saying that if Dolly Parton's "9 to 5 the Musical" doesn't start selling well, it may be gone by Labor Day! It unfortunately has been on a steady decline in sales and that's not good for a new musical. I think it's wonderful and has a great cast with great songs! It's really a first rate production!Rumor has it that "White Christmas", which is returning this lucrative holiday season and played the Marquis where 9 to 5 currently resides last season, is looking to get back in there come November! Also the new musical "Catch Me if You Can" now playing in Seattle is looking to play there this Spring after White Christmas!
I say no! Find other theaters!! This show is pleasing audiences nightly and word of mouth should help this show stick around for awhile. Support it, go see it! You have a great time!
