Most of us have had the opportunity to say this at one time or another. For 
anyone who has ever had to work to make a living you can now see the musical that will make you smile at justice brought about in the workplace. It is a musical about three female co-workers who pushed to the boiling point, make a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot boss an make changes for the better for everyone in the office.
Sound familiar? Yes, 9 to 5 (the musical) is the same story as the famous movie which starred Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dolly Parton and Dabney Coleman(pictured above at the shows premier in LA). This one may not have any of those big stars in it…
BUT Dolly Parton did write all of the music. Speaking of its stars, it has a very talented cast of Broadway veterans including Marc Kudisch, Allison Janney, Stephanie J. Block and Megan Hilty. (pictured right)The show is pure entertainment from the energetic choreography to the colorful costumes that perfectly represent the 70’s to the perfectly bubbling score that Parton has written. For a absolutely charming night of theatre this is the perfect date.
