Stay Cool with Shrek this Summer on Broadway!

The summer is upon us. What better way to stay cool then to catch a Broadway show. One of my favorites of the season is Shrek the Musical. When I first heard that Shrek would be opening on Broadway I was a little skeptical. I never saw any of the movies. Being in my late thirties I never really had any desire. For those of you who don't know, Shrek the Musical is based on the Oscar award winning Dream Works film. It features a green Ogre, Shrek, and his side kick Donkey as they try to save the land from an evil Lord Farquaad and rescue Princess Fiona from a terrible fate. Sounds silly and childish right? How wrong was I? Shrek the Musical features 19 brand new songs and a great cast of 27 playing all the well known characters from the movie including the Ginger Bread Man and The Three Little Pigs. Shrek the Musical has it all. I always tell my customers who think it is not really a show for them..too childish they say, not true.
