The Yankees continue their homestand this weekend with a 4 game series against the defending American League Champions Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The Yankees continued to play solid ball this week by taking 2 out of 3 against 1st place Texas, with Melky Cabrera’s 2 run home run in the 8th inning giving them the win on Thursday. They travel to Fenway Park next week for a big 3 game series against Boston, as the 2 teams right now are tied for 1st with identical 32-22 records. Then the fun will really begin next weekend as the annual Subway Series gets underway at Yankee Stadium. It’s a tough 10 game stretch but with the way the Yanks have been playing they should be up for the challenge.
