West Side Story on Broadway a Must See!

The classic American musical "West Side Story" returns to Broadway and it's a show that shouldn't be missed!

The story of Romeo and Juliet is transported to the turbulent streets of New York City in the 1950s. Star-crossed lovers are caught between rival street gangs. Directed by librettist Arthur Laurents, the show features Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's legendary score.


2009 Tony Award Winner! West Side Story is the winner of Best Featured Actress in a Musical, Karen Olivio who as Anita steals the show. Who can forget the great movie musical with Natalie Wood and Rita Moreno. One of my all time favorite movies.
Well this show is selling unbelievably well which surprises me a bit since it opened to mixed reviews, but word of mouth is great and the show should stick around for a few years.
